Calgary Space Workers Society
( CSW )
Operating as a Science Club Since
October 4,2004
We are the parent club of
The Science Club
on the meetup network where our members sign up and become co-ordinated for both fun events and our main project to build our analog habitat (starting with our biosphere on earth)

The CSW are a science fact club building the future in space

Founded, October 4, 2004. The day SpaceShipOne rocketed into history, becoming the first private manned spacecraft to exceed an altitude of 328,000 feet twice within 14 days
It is time to turn to stars and explore, it is time for people like us to discover and be part of an incredible adventure!
Have you ever thought about being one of the lucky people to start a new world on another celestial body

We are a science club of volunteers doing Lunar and other celestial body habitat research. Our first part of this research is building an anolog or demonstrator habitat here on earth. This will allow us to also learn what it might be like to live on the moon, mars, Kepler 22b, HD40307g,GI581d, GI183c,GJ667Cc or the many others recently discovered. Our intent is to later build a prototype then the working model.

We are regular everyday people making, learning and doing incredible things and being involved in making it happen.

Join us by registering on the Meetup network and come to some lectures, events or activities. As we learn from each other and we enjoy the company of friends we slowly build and plan for a future where human kind will live on another world

Join our group on Meetup then come to a meeting. We do not share or sell your email address. We are too busy enjoying life and the people that we have met

Our Vision

We at CSW are a group of workers with a desire
"To Live And Work In Space"

Our Mission

To allow the rapid expansion of human development and the development of infrastructure for space. We will do this by providing a means to train individuals for the future of space colonization. We will make available funds and materials to construct infrastructure for space development

Our club is completely funded by donations from people like you.

Mostly, we have recieved donations of used and no longer needed construction materials that we use to build our projects.

We have some excellent HVAC equipment and building supplies but need more.

We pick up by the next day when possible or by request.

We still need money for donnuts, coffee and a few odds and ends that we can't aquire used.

No donation is too small

Donate by sending a cheque in Canadian funds to the

Video clip one is at the beginning of our project in Drumheller and is the start of an incredible experience

We are a science club of builders, hackers and inventors with a mother project and a desire to live and work in space. We want to build things, break things and learn things while doing it.

It is about building what we need to live in space and inventing what we don’t have.

Modify todays technologies and demonstrate that it can be done.

If you can conceive the possibility of making this happen and creating a piece of this puzzle, you are ready to become a Space Worker.
We are not a secret society per say but as a hacker or inventor we are secretive in many ways

Become a Space Worker, contact the Captain or seek nomination by joining us on meetup Calgary before attending meetings

The members are maintaining the vision of our club. The reason members are involved is to expand on their potential.

All of us have a potential that is above what we do for work in our daily lives. The
Calgary Space Workers offer a chance for people to do something perceived at a glance to be impossible, to move forward with ideas that they can see as reality.
Members are driven by a desire to become involved in a difficult and complex challenge. Inventing, hacking and fitting it into an even bigger puzzle

Part of our research is building a lunar habitat on earth with all the comforts of home.

Check us out on Meetup Calgary

and let the adventure begin

Be part of the adventure
New members  are welcome to come together for the next phase of progress for the analog habitat. We are building and have already started at the Homestead museum in Drumheller Alberta

There is no looking back as we create the demonstrator, prototype then the
working model of our moon habitat and research station.

The demonstrator:
Our members will be building a Hard-shell Analog Headquarters, the Hard-shell Manufacturing shop, the Connecting Inflatable or collapsible Corridor, the Inflatable Wetlands Biosphere Module and the Sleeping Quarters Module.
Later the members will build their own personal mobile habitats that will accompany the groups project.

Our Principles
We support all space initiatives, but we do not lobby for any one initiative or group
We support space tourism, but work toward Transmigration and autonomy
We uphold the right to private space faring
We strive to build a more peaceful world in space

Our Goals
Ultimately Mars for Colonization inclusive of restoration of its ancient ecology
The moon is the necessary stepping-stone
We will in time build a demonstrator, prototype then actual habitat to live and work in space
We will in time build and launch our own spaceship
